The project

Flash Collection is a roving project implemented since 2016 by the Ile-de-France Regional Collection of Contemporary Art (FRAC). A selection of FRAC works travels from high school to high school throughout the Ile-de-France region. A special backpack and trunks have been designed to transport the works and showcase them to students. The works remain at each school for one or two days and are presented by a mediator. In addition to the trunks, a video artwork from the FRAC collection is projected at the school for several weeks. Flash Collection also includes guided tours of FRAC exhibition venues (Le Plateau in Paris and the Château de Rentilly in Seine et Marne).

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation will be supporting Flash Collection's next three 'seasons' (academic years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20).
