The project

This training course is characterised by its multi-disciplinary content, comprised of lessons in choral singing, vocal technique, dance and stage performance, culminating each year in the production of music and choreography showcases before an audience of 1200 people, involving all the newly trained “opera masters”.

They also take part in a number of productions and concerts throughout the year.
To meet these objectives, the teaching staff includes specialist instructors, all trained at the highest French and international training faculties.

Recruitment is by open audition for candidates aged 8-25, who have no previous musical or artistic training, and does not discriminate by educational attainment (particularly high-priority education areas) or family circumstances.

The role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation is involved throughout the year in the different phases of the project, from annual selection of audition candidates through to rehearsals and final performances.
