Over 350 young people in vocational training

The project

Founded in 1995 by paediatrician Najat Maala M'Jid, Bayti (the Arabic word for 'home') is a Moroccan NGO that promotes the psychosocial reintegration of children in difficult circumstances. The NGO has three care facilities, in Essaouira, Casablanca and Kenitra Province, at which the most vulnerable children are given round-the-clock accommodation and support for two years, as well as schooling. Others benefit from vocational training (catering, carpentry, IT, etc.). Agricultural training is also provided at Bayti's farm school, which is currently being converted to organic status.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation approved a partnership to support the facility in 2016. This partnership is part of a very close collaboration. See the project to renovate the Souiria football ground.
