This programme was rolled out in 32 schools in the area, targeting both children and parents. Iron supplement treatments were also provided.<\/p>\n<p>Comparative medical checks are performed regularly to assess the efficiency of the programme.<\/p>\n<p>Instituto Melhores Dias has been working with Brazil&#8217;s poorest communities since 1993.<\/p>\n<p>[vc_separator sep_color=&#8221;accent&#8221; el_width=&#8221;10%&#8221; el_height=&#8221;5px&#8221;][vc_custom_heading]Role of the ENGIE Foundation[\/vc_custom_heading]<br \/>\nThe Foundation supported the project in 2015 for a period of one year, the time needed to implement the project. This partnership is part of a close collaboration with Instituto Melhores Dias.
