Opened in May 2018, Atelier des Lumières (Workshop of Lights) features a unique exhibition concept, using immersive technologies to create an emotional and interactive journey through the work of the world's greatest artists.
Its educational programme 'Art en Immersion' ('Immersion Art') is tailored to the opening exhibition on Gustav Klimt. Through a series of workshops and activities, it teaches children aged 8 to 10 about the artist's world and its historical context as well as stimulating their creativity and interest in art.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
The Foundation has committed to support the project for one year, which may be extended. This project will benefit many schools in educational priority areas (ZEPs), community centres, neighbourhood associations as well as international organisations such as Secours Populaire, the Red Cross and Apprentis d'Auteuil.
