LaClairière Production's mission is to produce awareness-raising films that showcase positive action on discrimination issues (social background, age, disability, gender, LGBT, migrants, etc.).
The Children and Opera project involves making a film charting the extraordinary experience of pupils in the last year of primary school in an educational priority area (ZEP) in Paris in order to highlight the effectiveness of the 'Ten months of school and opera' programme supported by the ENGIE Foundation. This scheme gives schoolchildren without easy access to art and culture an insight into the work that goes on at the Paris Opera and the shows that it puts on.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
The Foundation is supporting the Children and Opera project for two years as part of its commitment to access to culture for all.
