Founded 25 years ago, Schola ULB now runs the largest free educational support scheme in Brussels. Its 'success for all' programme is based on tutoring: students from Brussels universities and colleges are recruited to provide high-quality support to secondary and primary school pupils on a weekly basis. The aim is to prevent them from dropping out of school and to help them develop or build on future plans.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
After more than 20 years of providing educational support to secondary school pupils only, Schola ULB extended its activities to primary schools in 2011.
