Present in 40 countries, the NGO Positive Planet uses positive economy to empower the most vulnerable communities, especially in the poorest rural areas. Founded by Jacques Attali and recognised as a public-interest organisation, its mission is to build a better world for future generations. It works in three main areas:
- Fundraising for Positive Planet programmes such as Sun Chile and Sun Sassandra
- Promoting the positive economy concept via the Positive Planet Forum
- Rolling out social business innovations with the help of an incubator.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
The ENGIE Foundation is a Premium Partner of the Positive Planet Foundation. It provides additional and specific support to two projects:
