Fondation des Femmes (Women's Foundation) aims to encourage projects that promote women's rights, gender equality and action to tackle violence against women. It raises funds and brings together legal professionals and material resources then allocates them to organisations working on the ground which lack the resources to develop and expand their activities. Comprising founders, donors and volunteers, it relies on a committee of recognised experts to identify and support the most worthy projects promoting women's rights.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
The ENGIE Foundation has pledged three years of financial support for the Nuit des Relais project. The 2018 race will take place in Paris on November 28 and is designed to raise awareness and funds for organisations working to tackle violence in France.
