The project

Stappen is a support home for girls aged 14 to 18, who are referred there by a youth court judge. At odds with themselves and those around them, they are admitted to the centre following an escalation of transgressive behaviour (drugs, assault, self-harm, prostitution, prolonged truancy, etc.). The 'Connecting circles' project is a programme of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) allowing these girls to rebuild broken relationships with the people around them, especially their families.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation supported the project in 2016.
