The project

Digital skills are a basic requirement in today's world, which is why the organisation Afghanistan Libre decided to equip two of its schools (in Paghman and Panjshir Province) with digital rooms. As well as providing equipment, the programme works with the Afghan Ministry of Education to run demanding training courses aimed at both teachers and young people. The courses for young people (160 pupils) are intended to result in a qualification.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation provided support to the project in 2017. This assistance is part of a broader partnership with Afghanistan Libre (see the Promoting Afghan Girls Education project).
