  • COUNTRY : France (Europe)
  • DATE : 2017-2018

The project

Designed by the botanist and researcher Patrick Blanc, the green wall is an iconic feature of the Musée du quai Branly. Major work is needed to strengthen the wall and ensure its long-term future. Work started in June 2017 and mainly involves redesigning the fasteners and adapting the humidification system.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Musée du quai Branly has launched a fundraising campaign for the restoration of the green wall. As founding patron of the museum's garden, the ENGIE Foundation agreed to match the amount raised.
