The project

La Liane is a French organisation that looks after street children and women in need in Saint-Louis, Senegal. In 2006, it opened a reception centre to reintegrate young people living on the streets by providing them with long-term support and assistance. From healthcare (including eye and dental care) and counselling through to help getting back into school or work, the centre offers comprehensive support to help young people regain their self-esteem and confidence in the future.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation supported the organisation in 2016 to help finance the centre.
