The project

Kréativa is a continuing education provider and a centre for educational research on sustainable development and citizenship issues. Kréativa's trainers lead groups of young people, from nursery school to higher education, to raise awareness of sustainable development, equal opportunities and citizen participation issues. They encourage the youngsters to question, discover and understand, and then apply what they've learnt to their daily lives by becoming Development Ambassadors to their parents and neighbourhood. In June 2017, Kréativa won the International Polar Foundation Award at the Belgian Energy and Environment Awards for its education programme on sustainable development, which is used in primary schools in Wallonia and Brussels. The award was presented by polar explorer Alain Hubert.
