The remit of the Institut de l’Engagement is to help young people aged 16 to 29 to get back into education/training, find a job or start a business after completing civilian service or volunteering. Since it was set up in 2012, the Institut pour l’Engagement has helped 2,710 young people, 72% of them girls.
The 'Scholarships for girls' project awards scholarships to allow girls to undertake the courses and training offered by the Institute without financial obstacles. Scholarships are awarded according to specific social criteria.
Role of the ENGIE Foundation
The Foundation is funding 600 scholarships over three years.
