200 refugee minors

The project

There are 1,200 refugee minors living in Belgium, who are more or less left to their own devices. The Sound of Home gives them the opportunity to learn a musical instrument at music schools near their accommodation. For these young people, music education is an ideal means of integration, not least because it allows them to interact with young Belgians of their own age. The project is backed by dozens of cultural social partners, the two main ones being SOS Children's Villages and Klarafestival.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation
