The project

NOC! Nous On Crée! organises plastic arts workshops for children in hospital for long periods of time (in the IDF region). The benefits to the well-being of the children have been clearly proven. These workshops take place in the hospital: they are free, weekly and ongoing. The association wants to allow an increasing number of children to benefit from these periods of learning and escape and the chance to prove themselves in spite of their illnesses. Two workshops are currently open, one at the Institut Curie and the other at Hôpital Necker, which will be gradually rolled out across other departments. In light of the success of the programme and strong demand, a third teacher was trained at Hôpital Louis Mourier in Colombes. Two other workshops are also set to open, one at Hôpital Ambroise Paré and the other is still under discussion. The association wants to expand efforts to promote their work (a documentary is in progress, exhibitions, decoration of hospital spaces, printing on hospital textiles (nurses' uniforms, etc.)). They also want to create a short animated film featuring a poetic character, “Le Poisson Voitout", that could be used on textiles, bedroom walls, and even night lights, toys, or in nursery rhymes. NOC! has received the "Culture à l’hôpital" ("Culture in the hospital") label (DRAC-ARIF).

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The ENGIE Foundation has been a partner of NOC! since its foundation in 2005. In 2020, NOC! will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The ENGIE Foundation will help organise a nice event for the anniversary.
