The project

A football academy based in Paris's 18th arrondissement, AFP18 has two main socio-educational programmes:
  • The educational support programme, run in collaboration with the Maison Bleue community centre. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 to 7.30 p.m., youngsters from AFP18 and the local neighbourhood can go to Maison Bleue where volunteers help them with the school subjects they find most difficult.
  • The ACCC programme involves organising cultural, creative and civic engagement activities on Wednesdays and Saturdays, including workshops/tours at the Musée du quai Branly during the holidays, putting on short plays, producing videos (with Sirius Production) and an introduction to aquatic dance (with choreographer Kitsou Dubois).

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation has committed to support 350 local girls and boys aged 6 to 17 over a three-year period.
