The project

Make.org is a European internet platform that gathers citizens' proposals on topical social issues. These cover a wide spectrum, from work and employment through to democracy, food, the environment and violence against women. As well as collecting proposals, Make.org helps to publicise the most relevant proposals and turn them into concrete initiatives. Together with the ENGIE Foundation, Make.org will be launching a 'great cause' on the theme of access to culture for all. The aim is to collect as many proposals as possible and turn them into concrete actions or projects. The selected projects will then receive assistance and support for three years.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

The Foundation decided to support the project in 2017 for a period of three years. This should be enough time for Make.org to gather the contributions, support the projects and gauge the effectiveness of the whole initiative.
