The project

The sub-prefecture of Dabiss (30,000 inhabitants) and the village of Tambidjet are located 5 km apart. A few years ago, the ENGIE Foundation, in partnership with the Orange Foundation, helped to build a health centre in Dabiss and a school in Tambidjet. This latest project, led by Energy Assistance France, ENGIE's in-house NGO, aims to electrify both buildings by installing photovoltaic panels.

Role of the ENGIE Foundation

Having supported the construction of the health centre and school, the ENGIE Foundation wanted to finish the job by providing the buildings' users with access to electricity.
