The project

Created in March 2017, La France s’engage Foundation, recognized as a public utility, is an extension of the La France s’engage social innovation support program initiated by the French government in 2014. It is chaired by François Hollande.
The Foundation’s aim is to promote the involvement of civil society in initiatives that benefit the greatest number of people. In this way, it fosters community life around local services and sustainable regional development.
Each year, it identifies and rewards the most innovative projects in all areas of sustainable development. Approved projects are accelerated by the Foundation, which provides them with funding and support over a three-year period to enable them to scale up and spread.
